有名デザイナーの名作が揃う北欧家具の店

CRAFT CONCERT

デンマーク、ノルエウェー、フィンランドを中心に北欧家具を取りそろえるクラフトコンサートの本館は、古民家をリフォームしてつくられた和の空間。1995年にこの建物に出会って以来、北欧の職人たちがつくりあげた大切な家具とともに、北欧家具とものづくりの素晴らしさを伝えています。

Since its founding in 1995, the store has specialized in furniture from Denmark, Norway, and Finland. With a deep appreciation for the artisans who create each piece, CRAFT CONCERT carefully selects and offers furniture to those who value quality and timeless design.

本館・別館に展示されている作品は200点以上。有名デザイナーがデザインを手掛け、職人たちが心を込めてつくり出した本物の北欧家具を実際に見ることができます。

現地の木材を使った北欧の家具デザインは日本の住居やインテリアとも相性がよく、古民家をリフォームしてつくられた店内でそれを実感することができます。

This unique two-location shop features over 200 pieces of handmade Scandinavian furniture, all designed by top designers. The warmth of natural wood complements Japanese interiors, a harmony you can experience inside the beautifully restored kominka.

展示されている名作のひとつが、デンマークの工房PP・モブラーの「ザ・チェア」。ハンスJ.ウェグナーの代表作のひとつで、プロポーションの美しさ、かけ心地などあらゆる点で完成度の高い作品です。1960年のアメリカ大統領選でジョン・F・ケネディとリチャード・ニクソンが討論した際にもこの椅子が使用されており、歴史のワンシーンにも登場するほど有名な作品です。

One of the standout pieces on display is The Chair by Denmark’s renowned workshop, PP Møbler. Designed by Hans J. Wegner, this masterpiece is celebrated for its flawless proportions and exceptional comfort. It even made history in 1960 when John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon sat in The Chair during their famous presidential debate.

PP・モブラーの高い技術によって仕上げられた「ベアチェア」も、ハンスJ.ウェグナーによるデザイン。パパベアの愛称でも親しまれています。最高級の木材でつくられたフレーム、コイルスプリングのほか、クッションには馬毛や椰子の木の繊維などの自然素材が使用されており、まさに極上の座り心地。一生大切にしたくなる作品のひとつです。

Another Hans J. Wegner masterpiece crafted by PP Møbler is The Bear Chair. Built from the finest wood and finished with expert precision, it features coil springs and cushions made from natural materials like horsehair and palm fiber. The result is an unparalleled level of comfort—truly a chair to treasure for a lifetime.

フィンランドのartek（アルテック）が生産する「スツール60」は、20世紀を代表する建築家・プロダクトデザイナーのアルヴァ・アアルトによるデザイン。フィンランド産のバーチ材（樺の木）が使われており、「L-レッグ」と呼ばれる直角に曲がった脚が特徴です。バーチ材の可能性を広げる革新的な技術によって生まれた作品で、無垢の木材にスリットを入れてベニヤ板を挟んで仕上げることで、優れた強度が保たれています。

Designed by the renowned 20th-century architect and product designer Alvar Aalto, the Stool 60 is a Finnish design icon produced by Artek. Made from locally sourced birch, its signature L-leg—a bent, right-angled wooden leg—showcases an innovative technique that expanded the possibilities of solid wood. By cutting precise slits into solid birch and inserting thin layers of wood, the structure gains remarkable strength while maintaining its organic elegance.
